I reviewed this one briefly in early September saying "Nice Pinot, typical of many California Pinots, it was good, but it was overshadowed by the next two" - I'd have to try the next two again for a comparison, but freshly opened rather than at a tasting with a bottle that may have been open a while, this one shined.
Prominent cherry-cola on the nose and as the first taste. Great acidity and well balanced. Good dark red fruit. Mid-weight for a California Pinot Noir. At about $35 it's an interesting choice. Recommended. Not that it needs to be said, but I bought at The Wine House in Manlius as usual.
